The school was born out of the sincere efforts made by Bhilai Steel Plant well responded by DAV CMC with the purpose to cater the educational needs of the children of Bhilai Township. DAV is an established name in the field of education and has more than 1000 institutions across the country independently as well as in collaboration with public and private sectors of high repute like Coal India Ltd., SAIL, NMDC, ACC, NTPC, STPC, Adani, Reliance, GAIL, Police Deptt etc. This institution is primarily located in the heart of Bhilai Steel Plant, ready to cater to the needs of chidren of local residents who otherwise failed to get the quality education among the mushrooming schools in the city.
DAV Ispat Public School, Sector 2 initially started from Class Nursery to Class VII and has been going on adding one class every year. The academic session 2022-23 witnessed the passing out of our first batch of Class-XII AISSCE examination.
